How do I book my trip? Booking is simple. Contact Captain Rob directly via call/text at 916.295.8851, email stoddardguideservice@gmail.com, or use the Messege button on our home page. We secure your date via a Square or Venmo deposit; once paid, your spot is locked in.
Where and when do we meet? Because we follow the best bite, launch locations vary. Captain Rob will provide a likely location at booking and confirm the exact boat ramp and time (typically between 4 AM – 6 AM) the day before your trip.
What should I bring? We provide all top-tier rods, reels, and bait. You just need to bring a valid CA fishing license, sun protection, and your preferred food/drinks in a small cooler.
How long is a typical day? Our standard trips are private 6–8 hour excursions. While we specialize in full-day trips, we also offer half-day, evening, and night fishing options for a unique experience.
Can I bring my kids? Absolutely! We love hosting families. Captain Rob will ensure young anglers have a safe, fun, and educational time on the water.
What can I expect on the boat? You are paying for a private, professional experience. Captain Rob provides active coaching, technical demonstrations, and 100% effort to keep your gear in the "strike zone." At the end of the day, we’ll clean and process your catch for the ride home.
